200,000 frame rate

Corax

High-speed Image Sensor and Camera System

The Corax is an ultra high frame rate visible light camera, capable of a peak frame rate of 200,000 frames per second (fps), storing 16 frame snapshots in burst mode and 3000 fps in continuous mode.

The standalone Corax Image Sensor uses a pinned photodiode (PPD) light-sensitive element, and provides benefits such as reduced dark current, low noise, and increased quantum efficiency.

Alphacore’s Corax EKIS1G Evaluation Kit can be used to easily assess the Corax Image Sensor and the Corax Camera System to evaluate their performance.
