Integrated Circuit Authenticity, Reliability and Built In Self Test (BIST) Tools

Alphacore’s integrated circuit (IC) analysis, design and development includes authentication, identification, reliability monitoring and added logic to the IC to enable BIST.  Our innovative proprietary non-destructive methods determine unique chip identifiers to authenticate circuits, monitor for degradation, and flag impending failures, all through non-destructive evaluation. 

Die Extraction & Reassembly Impact on Critical Systems

Alphacore has demonstrated the feasibility of implementing novel, easy to use micro-system testers that simplify the process of authentication and end-of-life prediction, and provide a low-cost solution for vaidating ICs that may have undergone die extraction and reassembly (DER).  

By taking advantage of unique nano-ionic properties of specific materials, our circuit authentication techniques enhance trust and security for the origin of microelectronic circuits, and combat illicit die and IC recycling. 

Alphacore Contributions to DMEA Advanced Technology Support Program IV (ATSP4)

Alphacore is a part of the Defense Microelectronics Activity's (DMEA’s) Advanced Technology Support Program IV (ATSP4) team, using our novel IC identification, reliability and authentication tools to fight the effects of electronics obsolescence. We are developing alternative sources for obsolete electronics, and proactive measures that will eliminate illicit ICs from entering critical systems. 

ATSP4 is an alternative streamlined procedure that quickly funds access to advanced microelectronics engineering technical expertise for new and existing DoD weapon systems to meet the needs of the warfighter.
